Rosemarie Zacher about her work: "If we had no mistakes, we would not find so much pleasure in others. La Rochefoucauld - This detection is a highly pleasurable process for me – I do not use the words and only to a limited extent the Scriptures, but make a variety of materials speak. From this, large-format canvas painting, groping line drawings, caricature-like illustrations or plastic works are created. At all pleasure is this artistic-creative process hard work – but it opens up to me as the only possibility with the shortcomings of the world, but also with their own To deal with weaknesses self-ironically."

Susanna Partsch about Rosemarie Zacher: "In all her pictures, illustrations and sculptures there is always the human being with its small, often endearing mistakes in the center. The can portray Rosemarie Zacher perfectly. And that's what it does with Enjoyment and a good dose of irony. Your fine Nothing escapes her powers of observation and we owe her a true panopticon of human behaviors that never come across as malicious, but with a sense of humor that is even in the smallest Detail can be traced."
