BIOGRAPHY REINHARD MICHL

Following an apprenticeship as a typesetter, he studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Graphic Design in Munich;
 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. 1977–1979 Interruption of studies; stay in Ireland and Scotland; first illustrations for various book publishers are created.
 1980 Graduation from the Academy in Munich.  Increased illustration commissions; first picture books are published as well as picture stories for ARD and ZDF.

In the meantime, more than 100 books with his drawings have been published by renowned publishers, including more than 40 picture books. Some books have been translated into more than 30 languages.

 Workshops at Goethe-Instituts in different countries.

Reinhard Michl lives and works in Munich and at Staffelsee.
